Santiago de Querétaro, known simply as Querétaro, is the capital and largest city of the state of Querétaro, located in central Mexico.
Querétaro is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has been recognized as the metro area with the best quality of life and as the safest city in Mexico and also as the most dynamic in Latin America.
Come to wander the historic Spanish colonial town or the twisting alleys of the Indigenous peoples. Admire the enormous aqueduct (built in the 1700s) and its magnificent arches. Enjoy cheap and delicious Mexican food, lovely weather (average high temperature in February of 76.3F or 24.6C), and a rich culture.
But most of all, come to join your Location Indie family for our LI Mexico Experience (MexEx!).
Make it a point to get to know each other! When you surround yourself with other motivated, like-minded people pursuing similar goals, you’ll get the encouragement and help you need in real time while building new friendships and an incredible network. We’ve organized this event exclusively for members of Location Indie and their significant others, business partners, and/or employees who also wish to purchase a ticket.
This is your opportunity to deepen the friendships you’ve made in the online community and shake some real hands with real people.
Come to beautiful Querétaro, Mexico on February 17 and enjoy everything we have in store for you!
Welcome Party
We’ll meet at one of Querétaro’s fun venues on Sunday evening and get to know each other over drinks and finger food.
Food and one drink are included in your ticket!

LI Business Jam Sessions
On Monday and Tuesday, we’ll learn from our team and fellow members with interactive business sessions and Mastermind pods.
Get specific feedback from Jason, Trav, and fellow members on the specific challenges you’re facing–no matter what level you’re at.
Then we’ll take immediate action and do some real work to move our businesses forward!
Excursions
We have several fun group activities and excursions planned, including:
- A walking tour of historic downtown Querétaro, a UNESCO World Heritage City with a rich history.
- A hike at Peña de Bernal, one of the tallest monoliths in the world and one of the 13 Wonders of Mexico (with a cute village at its base)!

Catered Food + A Nice Dinner!
A caterer will serve a delicious lunch during our sessions on Monday and Tuesday so nobody has to go hungry!
Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options will be available.
PLUS, we’ll take out our whole group for a nice dinner on Tuesday evening!

Here are some FAQ’s that will help.
Where is the LI Mexico Experience going to happen?
It will take place in Santiago de Querétaro (a.k.a. simply “Querétaro”), Mexico. There are direct flights from the U.S. to Querétaro. Alternatively, fly to Mexico City (usually much cheaper) and take a bus directly from the airport (approximately 3 hours on a nice bus for around $25 USD). More detailed information will be sent to you after you register. CLICK HERE to see the general area where you’ll want to stay to be closest to our activities.
What are the dates?
The LI Mexico Experience will begin the evening of Sunday, February 17, and continue until midday on Wednesday, February 20. Plan to arrive Saturday or earlier in the day on Sunday and depart no earlier than late Wednesday afternoon or evening. Or stick around for a few more days and explore Mexico with your new friends!
Who can attend?
The LI Mexico Experience is exclusively for members of Location Indie and, if they wish to purchase a ticket and join us, their significant others, business partners, and/or employees.
How much does it cost?
$397 per person.
What if I need to cancel my ticket? Is it refundable?
Because we need to make deposits on the venues, caterers, etc., tickets to the LI Mexico Experience are non-refundable. However, if you can find another LI member who would like to attend, you are welcome to transfer your ticket.
What will my ticket get me?
Your LI Mexico Experience ticket will include a drink and finger food at the welcome party on Sunday night, a walking tour, tickets and transportation for our organized group excursion, catered lunch on Monday and Tuesday, a nice dinner on Tuesday, and opportunities to interact and network with your fellow members through our business sessions and fun activities. The LI Mexico Experience will include a nice balance of both business and travel!
What is NOT included?
Flights, ground transportation (except for our group excursion), lodging, and activities and meals other than the ones listed above are not included in your ticket price.
What happens after I sign up?
You’ll receive a welcome email with a few more details about the LI Mexico Experience and some follow-up emails with important information, specific venue locations, etc., as the date approaches!
